About the vacant position
As a Category Manager (new core process) Technology you will lead the development of medium to long term new core process technology related category plans, which define how URENCO will enjoy sustainable value delivery (lower costs, mitigated risk, supply surety) through detailed understanding of business requirements, supply market dynamics and TCO impacts. Next to your category responsibilities your will lead and inspire the new core process technology procurement team (5 FTE). For all operating and buying sites (in the Netherlands, UK, Germany France, USA) you and your team will undertake commercial negotiations with relevant suppliers and liaise with stakeholders and legal to ensure favourable commercial terms which mitigate business risk. You will deliver an annual Procurement Value Plan through delivery of projects included in the Technology category plan and support to business partner nominated projects to meet site needs. Category plans will include and match the budgeted business expansion for the coming decade. URENCO expects an active contribution to the ongoing development of functional capabilities to ensure value delivery is sustainable in the long term and functional effectiveness and efficiencies is improved on a continual basis
You will lead and coach your team to work along with all business partners and senior leaders in the industry, to secure the Supply Chain, identify and drive savings and further improve performance improvement. You will build and manage business partner relationship to ensure needs are fully met and make sure that change management objectives are implemented efficiently and effectively. Naturally, you will ensure accuracy of category related data and documentation is recorded in key systems to enable compliance and adherence to policies, as well as enable efficient P2P processing.
About your profile
You are an experienced Senior procurement professional with a sound leadership track record. This experience was gained and built up within international (matrix) organizations. Ideally you possess demonstrable procurement experience within the High-tech industry related Capex categories. Even more important is your ability to build and further improve strategic partnerships with suppliers and Senior stakeholders. You are the type of person that will challenge status quo, existing processes and bring on alternatives. You take the initiative and ownership. You are a self-starter, will unlock opportunities, remove the barriers, ask the right questions and you get things done. You possess well developed business acumen, and you are an inspirational leader to others. All business within URENCO is conducted in English and your command of the language (both oral and in writing) is impeccable. Proficiency in German or Dutch is not required, but a distinct plus.
About the package on offer
URENCO offers an interesting remuneration package (base up to +/- € 110K, dependant on age and experience) including excellent secondary benefits.
