We are currently looking for two people to join the contact team to assist with supply chain and purchasing in the DRF business unit of DSM.
The Contract Manager works alongside lead buyers in the European Purchasing organization. Supporting them in optimizing the day-to-day operations for strategic raw material portfolios. The Contract Manager reports to the Purchasing Manager Europe.
Your key areas of accountability/responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate correct, and optimized, implementation of raw material contracts and strategies across the DRF production locations in Europe;
- Operational spider in the web: connecting the demand of sites with available volumes from the DRF supply base. Aligning between sites;
- First point of contact for Supply Chain on key raw materials;
- Support buyers in the onboarding process of new products, vendors, et cetera;
- Support and improve the price forecasting process for key raw materials
Background & Experience
- Very strong understanding of MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Strong background working with SAP
- Language preferred English
- Education level HBO
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
- Capable of (internal and external) stakeholder management
- Agile and hands-on mentality
