Global Procurement Management Office & Capabilities Director drives best in class Procurement tools and processes and manages capability development for procurement skills:

  • Support CPO & PLT to define, to maintain maturity roadmap for Procurement including but not limited to organization structure, readiness, tools, process, policy, coverage…..
  • Coordinate and follow up maturity road map execution
  • Lead and coordinate Global procurement corporate agenda supporting by the right internal & external communication with the inclusion of the definition of the material
  • Internal and external communications regarding corporate purchasing activities- manage Supplier Website and Procurement communication in Workplace, according to the procurement activities, projects, policy needs.
  • Principal, follow up on Procurement Governance and main rules to match compliance with the Amsterdam Principal.
    • i. Procurement calendar follow up, finance cycle, category, strategy reviews.
    • ii. Review documentation stored, making sure that rules are followed.
  • Define, manage and prioritize execution on Soft & hard capabilities roadmap for the procurement organization (Category management, negotiation training, buyer soft skills development….)
  • Supplier Relationship Management and Risk management :
  • Supplier management and development practices, with joint value creation plans & partnerships with key suppliers
  • Define common supplier scorecards, and performance dashboards and supporting processes that monitor and report supplier performance in meeting business needs


Profile and education:

  • University Degree ideally in Business or Economics; MBA preferred
  • Min. 10 years relevant commercial experience within all aspects of strategic and operational sourcing on regional or global level
  • Expertise in procurement project management and capabilities development (P2P, Digital Procurement …)

Key competencies and demonstrated Skills:

  • Experienced working in a regional or global procurement organisation across a number of key areas, as such gaining an in-depth understanding of capabilities and processes
  • Specific experience with procurement processes, procurement systems, procurement technology
  • Cross-functional & cross culture change management experience
  • Experienced in delivering results within a changing environment or as part of a large change management programme
  • Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders as well as throughout the global procurement organisation
  • International working experience / experience working in a global environment
  • Experience with sourcing systems and e-tool solutions
