Job Description

Role / Title:

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Procurement professional to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The position lies within the Global Procurement Ingredients team. You will be responsible for the development of sourcing strategies that create partnerships between KHC and supplier(s) of choice and deliver tangible results in time-bound period. This involves an integrated, proactive approach with participation from appropriate members of various Regions / Business Units and collaboration with network of regional Buyers. You will also lead Global Value Engineering across Ingredients Categories. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders!

Key Components of the role:

  • Development and implementation of market-oriented global category sourcing and supplier management strategies to achieve competitive advantage through lowest purchase cost and value improvements consistent with the direction set by the business
  • Development of negotiation plan and either conducting contract negotiations or ensuring Zonal/Local executor is following prepared negotiation strategy/script
  • Leading supplier selection, development, and overall supplier management, including score carding, supplier relationship reviews and sensitive supplier lists
  • Development of expertise within the organization around the supply markets that we are buying in and the effects of governmental, technological, and economic changes that impact those markets; sharing expertise with regional Buyers and KHC leadership
  • Leadership, facilitation and execution of pipeline of Global Ingredients Value Engineering projects that deliver the Category target set by the Business

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, or another related Business area required
  • 4-6 years’ work experience in international Strategic Procurement / Sourcing, Ingredients and/or Value Engineering experience is preferred
  • Knowledge: Advanced user of MS Office, MS Excel in particular
  • Professional fluency in English is a must; other languages (Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin, Russian) are a plus
  • Results driven
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
