The Procurement function has a key role to play in delivering the most competitive cost & cash base and to create top line value by building and managing a strong supplier base. Working on Packaging Procurement, you will drive strategic sourcing activities with the goal of achieving cost reductions and value creation, while maintaining or improving service quality or vendor service levels.
In your role as the Global Procurement Buyer on Packaging you will organize and lead strategic negotiations with key suppliers within different areas, while also challenging the operational requirements and demands. You will consistently ensure effective relationship management with your primary internal stakeholders and suppliers.
You will lead selection and management of key suppliers through appropriate evaluation, selection, and governance to ensure service delivery & quality, relevance, and commercial value. Proactively engaging with stakeholders across functions and country business units to drive continuous improvement is key.
To be successful in this role, you will have at least 5 years of relevant experience on printed packaging gained in Consumer Goods Industry. Next to that, you have a Relevant Bachelor degree in Business and/or Finance and/or Engineering and/or related discipline. You have a deep knowledge and genuine interest in Packaging and innovations. Being a self-starter and having strong stakeholder management is key.
