What you’ll do

Reporting to Danaher Bio-Technology Group’s Senior Director, Cash & Treasury, this role is an opportunity to lead a global organization of 80 FTE’s. You will ultimately be responsible for delivering strong operational performance Danaher Bio-Technology Group’s daily Purchase-to-Pay operations (Accounts Payable). This role is also an excellent chance to learn and implement Danaher Business System tools and projects, including Daily Visual Management and Problem Solving Process.

  • Drive daily operational rigor and improvement projects to ensure target KPI levels are achieved for Danaher Bio-Technology Group’s daily Purchase-to-Pay operations, including Invoice Turnaround Time, Paid-on-time %, and GRNI-balance.
  • Own reporting of weekly and monthly KPI’s and organize monthly operational reviews with Finance leadership.
  • Create culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and positive energy amongst global team of 80 FTE’s, both Danaher associates and Genpact contractors.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams and functions, including Finance (especially Controllership / Accounting), Sourcing, and Supply Chain to deliver improvement projects and daily operations. Additionally, create transparency regarding operational performance and support Controllership audits and balance sheet reviews.
  • Own AP communication strategy to suppliers and internal users.

Who you are

  • Skilled team-builder who collaborates to solve problems and creates an environment where world class performance is expected.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills: able to identify and understand underlying root causes of operational performance.
  • History of process improvement and / or project management to deliver improved results.
  • Excellent organization skills: able to balance multiple priorities, both short-term and long-term, across multiple action owners and stakeholders.
  • Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong communication skills who can work across a variety of functions and experience levels. Confident and assertive individual with ability influence across functions.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment across multiple time zones.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and / or relevant proven financial work experience.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable and Oracle or SAP ERP’s are preferred. The ability to respond efficiently to resolve issues emerging from the daily operation is a plus.
