Job Description

Your internship project: Investigation of Contractor Qualification Process and make a recommendation of the process in order to implement the process in an efficient way. The process is currently structured as follows:

  • a) Start creating overview of contractors to be qualified.
  • b) Approved work instruction
  • c) Start contacting the contractors
  • d) Completion qualification of active contractors

Your responsibilities:

As internship, Global Procurement, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Investigate and recommend how to engage, obtain sponsorship, and how to influence stakeholders / demonstrates procurement value proposition, prepares a delivery plan shared jointly with business stakeholders
  • Support to global initiatives of Safety Standards
  • Providing a fresh perspective within the department: your opinion matters.
  • The above-mentioned responsibilities are an indication of what you will be doing after proper onboarding and initial learning and development. This provides you with the opportunity to learn and hereafter perform tasks independently. In consultation with your supervisor, you could take on additional tasks and responsibilities.

Who are you?

  • A fourth-year HBO or MSc student with interest in Global Procurement.
  • Previous interns had either a background in Business, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Market Research, IT or a Science-related disciplines.
  • You are familiar with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and eager to learn
  • You are enthusiastic about problem solving. Drives results while dealing with ambiguity. Take the initiative.
  • You are searching for an internship where you have the freedom to take initiative
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
  • You are available for a period of 40 hours for 5 days a week.
