Procurement Manager (32 – 38 uur)
Are you an enthusiastic, experienced procurement professional who enjoys getting stuck into all aspects of international purchasing? De Bondt is offering an exciting, varied and pivotal role in which you will be involved in the full complex range of procurement activities: sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier management and market analysis, as well as supporting and managing colleagues. We are looking for a cooperating Procurement Manager who, together with their team, will make a fundamental contribution to our growth ambitions and optimise the chain, strategically, tactically and operationally. Our candidate will take great pleasure in sourcing the ideal products for our community of crafters worldwide.
Due to the growth of De Bondt, the Procurement department has been expanded. Thanks to your expertise, the Procurement Strategy will be enhanced and implemented. You will monitor and supervise purchasing specifications and investment projects. You will ensure that purchased products and services are available on time and in optimal condition.
You will source manufacturers for new crafting materials, follow trends and developments within the field, identify opportunities and vulnerabilities and proactively make proposals for managing the product range. Together with your team of 8 (5fte), you will ensure continuous interaction with Research & Development, Sales, Marketing & Communication, Logistics and Business Process Management. You are responsible for ensuring purchasing is attuned to demand, and that we continue to delight our customers with excellent products and service.
You will be part of the Management Team, reporting directly to Senior Management. The BPM Manager will be a Senior Sparring Partner for you on all procurement related issues.
Our Ideal Candidate
You are organised, decisive, proactive, hands-on and enjoy team performance. You make connections easily, are open and stand firm. You are results orientated and negotiate to secure competitive terms, optimal quality and price. Building and maintaining a solid relationship with manufacturers and suppliers is important to you. You invest in this, and respect any existing, sometimes verbal agreements from the past. You work accurately, making and recording clear agreements with international manufacturers and suppliers. Corporate social responsibility is self-evident, and you steer purchasing in line with our values. You enjoy working within teams and with different departments to optimise the supply chain. You solve delivery issues. You have experience in a wholesale environment with a webshop. You have an instinct for materials, colours and application and find it a thrill to identify, or have made, products that our end users will love.

- Power BI experience is an advantage.
- Instinct for colour and appreciation of quality in craft materials.
- Knowledge of our markets and/or an affinity with various handicrafts is a great advantage. Otherwise, we expect that you quickly gain this.
