The opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious Procurement Manager to manage our sourcing capabilities and supply chain. You will be responsible for strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors in order to acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses. In this position you will report to the Director of Construction and Design.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and costeffective.
  • Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Approve purchase orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services.
  • Manage team member
  • Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Control the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Prepare procurement reports.
  • Centralize all purchase orders for all venues

What you bring

We are looking for a self-starting team player who is excited by challenge and is looking for work that sparks real connection. You bring

  • Three to five years’ experience in purchasing
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Suite
  • Experience coordinating multiple long-term projects, on-time and within budget
  • Knowledge of facilities and construction operations
