Our strategy is to open 50 new restaurants in the coming years. To this end, we are looking for a Purchaser/Supply Chain Specialist.
About the job
As Purchaser / Supply Chain Specialist you are part of our HQ team in Amsterdam. Your ultimate goals will be to help us achieve sourcing the highest quality for all our products in a consistant way, for the best possible conditions for all our restaurant locations. With your support we are making huge impact on our owned and our franchise restaurants. We are looking for someone that not only demonstrates excellent analytical skills and creative thinking, but also a deep curiosity to learn and a hunger to push the boundaries of success.
Your responsibilities
- You will be responsible for Supply Chain management and reporting.
- You will source ingredients and half fabricates and take care of procurement.
- Assist our restaurant managers: where can we win, make it simpler and which improvements can we make?
- Create a rating system for our suppliers (on price, quality, flexibility, accuracy etc.) to have constant focus on the best suppliers in our portfolio.
- You set up and manage partnerships and dailly operations with suppliers, manufacturers and logistic partners and negotiate an manage Brand deals (Coca-Cola, InBev etc.).
- You check and approve invoices on made agreements.
- Advice marketing on promotions based on sales data and menu-mix, what would we like to sell more or how could we decrease our COGS.
- Sustainability is key to us, so you will integrate and proactively manage our sustainability goals in relation to current and future suppliers, products/ingredients, logistics, packaging etc.
- Apart from our owned restaurants, you will also support and advise franchisees on their local supply chain.
About you
- You have an educational background (Bachelor/Master degree), for instance in Supply Chain Management.
- You bring (internship) experience in international Supply Chain management.
- Prior experience with a horeca (hospitality) or FMCG brand is preferred.
- You know what great Supply Chain management is and have a passion for it.
- As we operate in an international environment, we expect you to speak and write fluently in English and Dutch.
- You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty. We are a small team, which means we all have to roll up our sleeves and get the work done.
- This means you can switch gears from being strategic in one moment to executional in the next.
- We are looking for someone with talent, enthusiasm and a strong desire to make real impact with a growing brand.
- You are OK with ambiguity and finding the way forward even when it isn’t clearly defined.
- You are an effective communicator, speaking and writing come naturally to you.
- These important skills are part of your DNA: time management, problem solving and analytics.
