To be successful in the role:

  • Have a Master or Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Finance, Procurement or similar;
  • Legal knowledge is a plus;
  • Software knowledge is a plus;
  • 5 Years of work experience in a similar role;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to build and manage strong customer relationships;
  • Ability to articulate our solutions into a value proposition and answer the customer needs;
  • Team player as well as a self-starter with good negotiation skills;
  • Flexible, positive minded, pro-active and eager to learn and develop;
  • Excellent with Microsoft office to support decision-making, report writing, and category decision making;
  • Strong supplier contract negotiations skills;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch is required, French is a plus.

Key responsibilities for the role:

You’re responsible within segment(s) and assure that savings realization is achieved. In detail, you:

  • Facilitate the collaboration between Sales, Bid teams, Legal, Finance & Procurement;
  • Engaging with the Procurement Category Managers where appropriate to ensure alignments and opportunities to improve the use of existing suppliers are taken;
  • To work closely with Bid teams, Sales, Legal, Finance and Solution Management on Bids and projects to determine what third party agreements could be utilized and to support evaluating the 3rd party costs and risks in the bid;
  • Collaborating and working in conjunction with Alliance Management to ensure Procurement and Alliance Management has a good understanding of the strategy/relationship they have with the alliance partners both globally and GBU’s specific;
  • Supporting Procurement Bid Management for principles, strategy and policy by providing, advice and guidance to all relevant parties within the business;
  • Performing Procurement Category strategies and action plans in order to contribute to the company targets;
  • Communicate the action plans and result from global and local actions, including their timing and impact on budgets to the stakeholders and internal Procurement community.
