ABOUT THE JOB
Main role and mission:
- Working inside a global team and Cycles & Procurement, identify improvement opportunities, incl. processes, ways of working, technological enables to further integrate social and environmental topics into procurement practices
- Lead the development work by collaborating with Innovation, Procurement Centre of Excellence, Insight and Analytics
- Working alongside global human rights lead, co-lead the development of Danone’s human rights strategy, roadmap, implementation plan with focus on supply chain.
- Based on Danone’s human rights policy and salient risk assessment, external benchmark feedback, develop priority programs / action plans in supply chain
- Develop improvement initiatives, based on industry best practice, on stakeholder engagement and effective remedy
- Define the operational framework, incl. supplier engagement and accountability, to embed human rights in supply chain
- Develop a set of best practices that’s adapted to Danone’s supply chain specificities, engage with categories to implement
- Integrate sustainable sourcing and human rights priorities in category sourcing strategies
- Contribute to Danone’s overall social sustainability agenda, ambition, targets development
- Bring insight, knowledge of global trend and emerging social topics
- Support human rights lead to conduct annual review of Danone’s salient risks, implementation plan
- Track and report on Danone’s initiatives and implementation of human rights policy, focusing on supply chain
- Support internal and external reporting such as Danone’s annual report and investors’ indices
- Work with internal and external stakeholders and represent Danone in relevant coalitions such as Consumer Goods Forum, Business for Inclusive Growth
- Develop and deliver training and engagement programs for buyers and suppliers
ABOUT YOU
You are a true sustainable ambassador with hands-on experience in driving sustainable projects in supply chain/procurement field.
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in implementing human rights in supply chain
- In-depth knowledge of responsible sourcing maturity model & solutions
- Expertise in supplier sustainability management and capacity building
- Experiences in developing programs to address systemic issues
- International experience within complex matrix enviropment
- Knowledge in agri-food business is advantageous
