The Role
As a Senior Purchaser / Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for both the strategic and operational purchasing of our product categories. You manage stock levels, negotiate with suppliers, analyze market developments, and ensure a cost-efficient and reliable supply of products. With your experience in supply chain and ERP systems, you will play a key role in improving our procurement processes, strengthening supplier relationships, and ensuring product availability. You combine data analysis, commercial insight, and strong negotiation skills to achieve the best possible results.

What You Will Do

  • Manage strategic and operational purchasing for smartphone and tablet components.
  • Analyze stock levels, turnover, safety stock, and demand forecasts.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery conditions with international suppliers.
  • Manage supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in quality and service.
  • Conduct cost analyses, margin reports, and purchasing performance reviews.
  • Optimize procurement workflows within our ERP system (e.g., NetSuite).
  • Coordinate product introductions together with Product, Quality, and Warehouse teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, Product Information, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth end-to-end processes.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Exact, or similar).
  • Strong negotiation and supplier‑management skills.
  • Analytical, structured, and detail‑oriented approach to work.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and proficient with Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate both strategically and operationally.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken).
  • Experience working with international suppliers is a plus.
