Kienbaum Netherlands is seeking an experienced Vice President Procurement for a 12-month interim contract. This role will lead a global procurement function across direct and indirect spend, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and procurement transformation. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and executive leadership to enhance procurement capability in an international manufacturing context. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in senior procurement roles within high-tech and complex industrial sectors.
We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a global high-tech manufacturing client for an experienced Vice President Procurement on an interim basis for an initial 12-month contract.
This executive will lead a global procurement function across direct and indirect spend, with responsibility for strategic sourcing, supplier performance, cost optimisation, risk management, and procurement transformation initiatives. The role will partner closely with operations, engineering, supply chain, and executive leadership to strengthen procurement capability in a complex international manufacturing environment.
Key Requirements
- Proven track record in senior procurement leadership within high-tech, advanced manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, semicon, or similarly complex industrial environments
- Strong experience managing global supplier networks and driving operational and commercial improvements
- Demonstrated success in transformation, restructuring, and/or performance improvement programmes
- Strategic yet hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments
- International stakeholder management experience across matrix organisations
